Whitney Lewis gets qualifying test score

Whitney Lewis

St. Bonaventure wide receiver Whitney Lewis achieved a qualifying score on his recent SAT test and will enroll at USC in the fall. Click below for details.

"Just a got a call from the Lewis family who found out an hour ago that Whitney received a 1000 on the SAT and is good to go for the Trojans. Whitney said he needed a 950 because his GPA was a little under a 2.5 so he cleared it with a little bit of space. The whole family is pumped up to say the least and totally relieved. They also said they're happy to prove all the doubters wrong who felt Lewis wouldn't make it. Whitney's mom said she didn't even go to work today because she was so nervous knowing today was the day they would find out. When Whitney called her and told her he passed, she didn't even believe him and thought he was joking. When she realized he was serious, she started screaming her head off.

Congrats on the great news, I would be shocked if Lewis doesn't make an impact right away, he's one of the best WRs I've ever covered."
