Trojans Add Breslin

Morgan Breslin

Diablo Valley (Calif.) College defensive end Morgan Breslin has switched his commitment from UCLA to USC, and plans to sign with the Trojans today.

Diablo Valley (Calif.) College defensive end Morgan Breslin has committed to USC and will sign with them today according to Diablo Valley coaches.

Breslin, a three-star defensive end, committed to the crosstown rival UCLA Bruins during the summer, but received a late offer from USC and has made the switch.

With USC's current scholarship restrictions, the mid-year signing of Breslin is key because it allows the Men of Troy to add depth to the defensive line, which just lost Nick Perry to the NFL, while not using any of their 15 scholarships allowed for the 2012 class.

Breslin plans to officially sign today around 12:15 p.m. PST.
