Prater Granted Transfer to Play Near Home

Former five-star recruit and USC receiver Kyle Prater was granted his release from USC Monday and plans to play football at a school in the state of Illinois or at a school closer to his family.

Just two days after USC running back Amir Carlisle announced he was transferring to Notre Dame, Trojan receiver Kyle Prater did the same, but to an undisclosed location.
