The Big Board: USC Signing Day Schedule

Darreus Rogers

Get the announcement times and latest buzz on the prospects that Lane Kiffin and the USC Trojans are recruiting.

9:00 a.m. – Leonard Williams – Mainland High School (FL) – Defensive End

The Buzz: Depending on who you talk to Leonard Williams could end up at USC, Florida or Auburn. The four-star defensive end had a strong showing at the Under Armour All-American Bowl and is a hot commodity. USC has a legit shot at landing Williams, which would give them an outstanding prospect at a position of need.

9:00 a.m – Devian Shelton – Inglewood High School - Cornerback

The buzz: The talented DB from Inglewood is considering Oregon State, Washington and Nebraska, but a late offer from USC has really shaken things up. "Devian is very excited about the USC offer but will have some serious thinking and praying to do," said Inglewood assistant coach, Khalid Ali. We expect Shelton to stay close to home and pick USC at a signing ceremony at Inglewood.

9:20 am - Nelson Agholor - Berkeley Prep (FL) – Wide Receiver

The Buzz: USC has always done a good job of recruiting Florida and many feel that Nelson Agholor could be the next Sunshine State standout to head West. Agholor saved his USC visit for the final weekend before Signing Day, and from all accounts he had a great time hanging out with Robert Woods and the current players. It's a USC – Florida battle, and USC looks like the team to beat.

9:45 a.m. – Kyle Dodson – Cleveland Heights (OH) – Offensive Line

The Buzz: The USC Trojans were able to steal mammoth offensive lineman Aundrey Walker from Ohio last year, and Lane Kiffin is hoping to do the same in 2012. Dodson had very serious interest in the Trojans and some felt that USC was the leader as late as Tuesday, but word this morning is that Dodson will likely stay in-state and be a Buckeye.

10:35 – Andrus Peat – Corona Del Sol (AZ) – Offensive Line

The Buzz: It has come down to a three team race for the commitment of Andrus Peat with USC, Stanford and Nebraska still in the mix. The latest buzz out of Arizona is that Stanford is making a late push and looks like the team to beat on this one.

1:00 p.m. – Cyler Miles – Mullen High School (CO) – Quarterback

The Buzz: The longtime Washington commit is one of the most naturally gifted quarterbacks in the 2012 class and would be a great addition to the depth at USC, if Lane Kiffin can steal him from Steve Sarkisian. Miles sent us a text message saying he will sign today at 1 and will have a letter-of-intent for both schools, so it could get interesting.

1:15 – Kyle Murphy – San Clemente – Offensive Line

The Buzz: The No.3 overall player in the state of California has been one of the hardest players to read throughout the recruiting process. Murphy will stay in-state, picking between USC and Stanford. The Cardinal was considered the leader, but a strong official visit to USC has the Trojans firmly in the mix.

3:00-5:00 p.m. – Darreus Rogers – Carson High School – Wide Receiver

The Buzz: The four-star wide receiver has been committed for quite some time, but has always flirted with the idea of being a Sun Devil. Rogers took a late official visit to ASU and has serious interest. Rogers will make his final decision on Fox Sports West late on Signing Day. Stay tuned!
