West: Final Top Ten Receivers

Steven Mitchell

Mission Hills (Calif.) Alemany's Steven Mitchell sits atop the final West receiver rankings for the 2013 class...

West: Final Top Ten Receivers
Location: Mission Hills, Calif.
High School: Alemany
Size: 5-10, 180
Recruiting: Committed to USC
The Skinny: Selected to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, Mitchell is the most decorated player in Alemany's history and one of the top receiver prospects to ever come out of the San Fernando Valley.  Can get it done not just as a receiver but is one of the most dangerous return men in the country.
Location: Moreno Valley, Calif.
High School: Rancho Verde
Size: 6-3/215
Recruiting: Committed to Washington
The Skinny: A big physical receiver, Stringfellow is the top "big" receiver in the region in this class and for a school known for its linemen, has given them a standout skill prospect.  Stringfellow was selected to the UnderArmour All-America Game.
Location: Long Beach, Calif.
High School: Jordan
Size: 5-11, 175
Recruiting: Committed to Washington
The Skinny: Ross, a Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl, is one of the most explosive players in the West in the class of 2013.  He's a dangerous return man and once he's into the open field, he's gone.  It's rare that the top prospect from the Moore League isn't at Poly, but Ross cemented himself as the best player in that league and city.
Location: Phoenix, Ariz.
High School: Brophy Prep
Size: 6-1/190
Recruiting: Committed to Oregon
The Skinny: Allen boasts good size and strength and he's an explosive route runner with surprising speed and is able to run by a corner or safety offering over the top help. The Semper Fidelis All-American is also one of the elite hurdlers in the country and when Oregon offered him for football (after already offering for track) he snatched it up to be a part of both programs.
Location: San Diego, Calif.
High School: Lincoln
Size: 6-2/200
Recruiting: Committed to Oregon
The Skinny: An excellent basketball player, Robinson shifted his focus to football this year and showed his pure athleticism, which may be the best of any prospect in the region.  Can play receiver or corner or safety in college.  Selected to the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl.
