After a three day wait, UCLA finally got the gem to complete its great defensive back recruiting class: Tempe (Ariz.) Marcos De Niza defensive back Priest Willis.

Willis reportedly didn't sign on Signing Day due to some complications with his mother being out of town. Although there were some initial reports that he might be looking elsewhere, he confirmed that he was all Bruin and proved it by signing on Saturday.

Willis, a five star cornerback, might actually play safety at UCLA. At 6'2, 190, he has the size to play safety and the athleticism to play corner, depending on the need. He figures to factor in immediately, and possibly start from his first game at one of the three open defensive back slots.

Willis joins a defensive back class that includes four star cornerback Johnny Johnson, four star safety Tahaan Goodman, and four star safety Tyler Foreman. All four figure to compete for playing time next year with the departure of Andrew Abbott, Sheldon Price, Aaron Hester, and Dalton Hilliard.
