When USC beat California 62-28 on Saturday, the entire Trojan team beat the Golden Bears. The offense, defense, special teams unit, even the walk-ons all saw playing time and all left their mark on the California Memorial Stadium.
After their dominant win, USC running back Silas Redd echoed that thought saying that the win was a team effort.
"I think everyone played tremendously," said Redd. "Walk-ons, everyone came in and performed, and you can't ask for anything more."
Redd left the game early due to a knee injury, but said that it was just a precaution. The Trojans will face the other Bay Area team--a very physical No. 4 Stanford--this Saturday.
