The Trojans picked up their third offensive tackle in their 2015 recruiting class Wednesday when Anaheim (Calif.) Servite lineman Clayton Johnston announced for the Trojans.

Johnston, 6-foot-6 285-pounds, picked up his USC offer following a dominating performance at the Trojans lineman camp in mid-June.

The three-star recruit was not on the Trojans radar until a strong performance in early June at Prime Time Polynesian's Kumite Linemen Camp, where USC coaches were instructing.

Johnston, who received his first offer from Utah following his junior season, chose the Trojans over Arizona, Arizona State, Boise State, California, Colorado, Fresno State, Oregon State San Diego State, Utah, Wake Forest and Washington.
