Jon Turner, a Trojan defensive line signee from the Class of 2003 who did not qualify and sat out last season, confirmed that he has cleared all of his paperwork with the NCAA Clearinghouse and will enroll at USC in the fall.

Turner starred at running back and linebacker for Corona HS in 2002 when he ran for 1,083 yards with 14 TD's and added 130 tackles with 7 1/2 sacks on defense.

He originally enrolled at USC for the beginning of the Spring 2004 semester but the NCAA informed him that his paperwork with the Clearinghouse was not complete and he had to leave school. Turner attended USC practice on Tuesday and confirmed that everything is set with the Clearinghouse now and he is set to be a Trojan in the fall. Jon says he is 6-3, 260 pounds and at this point the coaches are telling him he will play outside linebacker.
