Thanks to a gutsy performance in a season-opening 18-17 win over Canyon, Sherman Oaks (Calif.) Notre Dame receiver Mike Stanton (6-5, 215) could eventually see more colleges take notice of him for what he's doing in football.

"It was a fun and exciting game," said Stanton. "Hopefully this will make some schools start to look at me more."
