Simmons sent us an e-mail shortly after talking with the USC coaches with a simple statement "I am a Trojan" and he also enclosed several photos.
Maurice follows his brother Melvin, who played at USC during the early years of the Pete Carroll era, as well as another brother Marvin, who committed to USC but was never able to qualify and ended up playing college ball at Kansas State. There is also another talented Simmons brother, Marquis, who will be a junior at Dominguez next year and is expected to be a top recruit as well.
