Dyron Dye paid a visit to USC last weekend. SCPlaybook caught up with Dye and discussed his visit and future plans.

Characterizing his visit, Dye said, "They've got a nice campus. I met with Coach Ruel, he took me around campus. I visited with my dad. I liked the visit."

Dye said he did not see the Trojans throw-around, "Practice was over when I got there."

SCPlaybook asked Dye about his offers and he replied, "I have a lot of offers. I don't have a favorite. I'll make my decision after my visits during the school year." Dye has some forty offers. He related that distance would not be a factor in his decision.

As for his summer plans, Dye said, "I'm not going to camps." He continued that he would be visiting schools but he doesn't have immediate plans as to which particular schools he may visit.

Dye related that he would take visits throughout the school year and make his decision after all of his visits. When asked what schools he has visited thus far he said, "I've visited all of the Florida schools," emphasizing that he went to all the schools in Florida and USC.

On making his decision Dye said, "I am wide open". He said that he would not likely make a decision until after football season is over, probably at the U.S. Army All-American Game.

When questioned what he is looking for in a school, he simply stated, "How they treat me and stuff like that."

He reported his current height and weight as 6'5" and 220 lbs.; Dye has a core GPA of 2.5. He is currently ranked as a Scout.com 4-star, #24 defensive end in the country.
