WeAreSC.com got to speak with the mother of Alex Morrow from Rancho Cotate High School in Rohnert Park, California this evening, and she had some great news for Trojan fans.  Alex committed to USC Head Coach Pete Carroll on Tuesday night, during an in-home visit, to become a Trojan.  Morrow also had offers from UCLA, Oregon, Arizona, and Washington among others.  He will enter USC in the fall of 2003, but plans to spend some time at both spring football as well as coming down to be on campus during the summer for workouts.  Alex can play both sides of the line.  He has played a lot of offensive tackle during his senior season, but is probably going to be a defensive lineman at USC.  He loves Los Angeles and really likes the fact that USC is a private school.  Alex Morrow is 6'6", 260 pounds, and runs a 4.71 forty.  He has a 35.9" vertical, squats 450 pounds, and benches a max of 375.  He set his schools weight training record with a clean lift of 325 pounds.  He also runs the anchor of his schools 4 x 100 track and field relay team and has a personal record of 11.9 seconds in the 100 meters.  Morrow is fully qualified with a 3.3 GPA and a 930 SAT.  He plans to major in either business or engineering.
