Despite the coaching change at USC and the Trojans already having two committed tight ends, Christian Thomas announced today on FSN that he will sign with USC.

"It's like a dream come true and I'm really excited about this opportunity," said Thomas. "I've decided I want to be a Trojan. They have great academics, a great football program, it's close to home and this was a smart decision for me."

"In high school I didn't get a ring, but I want to win a ring at USC."

Thomas took an official visit to USC last weekend and had high praise for the Trojans.

"I didn't find any cons about USC," Thomas said. "It's a great place down there, me and my parents had a great time the 48 hours we were there, we ate a lot, the coaches were all cool, it's a great environment, it's a private school, it's sunny in L.A., you've got the Staples Center downtown, there's a lot to do right down the street and it's just a great place down there."

Thomas is the third tight end USC has signed in this class. We'll have more from Thomas later today.
