Not many recruiting fanatics have heard of Serra junior defensive end Jason Gibson, but he's quietly accumulated offers from UCLA, Tennessee, Stanford, Washington, Washington State, Arizona and Arizona State. Serra WR/CB Marqise Lee, until late in the 2009 season, thought of himself strictly as a basketball player playing football. But his impressive play this season has the junior thinking more about playing football, or both sports in college. Serra junior wide receiver has been a huge weapon for Cavalier quarterback Conner Preston this season and has 29 receptions for 631 yards and nine touchdowns. He has two fewer receptions this year than last year, but more yards and more touchdowns. Plus Serra added four-star wide receiver Paul Richardson to the team, and he's also been productive with 27 catches for 516 yards and six touchdowns.   Full Story

Anthony Jefferson from Los Angeles Cathedral somewhat played in the shadow of current UCLA wide receiver Randall Carroll last year, but this season he has emerged as one of the elite prospects on the West Coast. Robert Woods from Serra High in Gardena, Calif., and Scout.com's No. 1 ranked wide receiver, has had an extremely impressive senior season. Last Friday Serra knocked off Cathedral 21-7 capping off a 10-0 regular season record, earning the Cavaliers a No. 2 seed heading into the playoffs this Friday night against Oak Park.   Full Story

I have never seen a USC football game, in my lifetime, where the secondary was forced to make 41 tackles. No one has ever seen USC give up 55 points before either. USC’s front seven on defense simply played a terrible football game Saturday.   Full Story

Last week Edison linebacker and Stanford verbal commit Jordan Zumwalt said Stanford and USC were the two schools he was still considering. There was one problem, USC hadn't offered Zumwalt a scholarship, but that changed on Tuesday when USC finally did offer.   Full Story
