| The sure-handed Greig Carlson continued his role as the primary punt returner for the Trojan special teams in 2003. Spelled occasionally by Reggie Bush, Carlson was the main guy back for USC and turned in a 9.0 average on 21 punt returns. He spent some time in the wide receiver rotation, but wasn’t able to log any statistics at that position. He will return again in 2004 to receive punts and continue as the first line of attack for the Trojan offense. |
