Biography:
Brandon Hancock was the starting fullback for the Trojans in 2003. The talent of the tailbacks employed by the Trojans didn’t leave many carries for Hancock to pick up, but he served the team with his blocking ability and receiving skills. Line up one-on-one against most linebackers, Hancock is able to turn on the jets and leave them gasping for air which is exactly what he did with two long receptions he turned into touchdowns at Arizona State and Washington (33 yards at Arizona State, 52 yards at Washington). His 13 total receptions netted him 160 yards on the year plus those two touchdown receptions. Hancock will be sorely missed in 2004 as he will most likely miss the season with knee and chest injuries.
