| Will likely end up as a defensive tackle in college, where he will need to put on a little more weight. Has the strength to be an effective run-stuffer and won't take any plays off. |
| Biography: |
| Had a monster junior season, recording 16 sacks in helping Grant to the sectional semifinals. Had 85 tackles in all and recovered three fumbles from his defensive line position. Also played some fullback.
Tupou reports a 3.8 core GPA and a 970 SAT. "I'm already qualified. That's what all the coaches tell me."
Grant Head Coach Michael Alberghini:
“Christian is the shortest one in his family," Alberghini said. "His brothers are 6-7 and 6-8 and he’s pushing 6-4 and he’s up to about 270 now. I think he’ll end up playing at the 290 range in college. His upside is he has strength and he plays very hard. We’re going to move him to defensive tackle this year because we feel that where’s he going to play at the next level." |
