| Paige runs away from people, shows separation and a great burst. He really knows how to catch with his hands and not his body. Paige is the type of the receiver that can beat with so many ways - deep, over the middle or take the short pass the distance. He also shows very good concentration and makes the difficult catch look easy. |
| Biography: |
| Paige earned First Team All-State, First Team All-District and First Team All-Northeast Louisiana honors as a junior after hauling in 45 passes for 1,208 yards and 17 touchdowns. He averaged over 26 yards per reception. He benches 205 pounds, squats 290 and has a 37-inch vertical jump.
Final senior (10-3) stats: 41 rec/863 yards/12 TDs. Paige also had one 98 yard kick return for a score.
He reports a 2.5 core GPA/810 SAT/19 ACT.
Paige: "I have great speed and rely on my elusiveness to make the first guy miss," Paige said. "Once I get it past the first guy I'm off to the races. I'm a quick strike guy, but I want to get bigger and more physical. I need to improve my lower body strength and the strength in my hands."
Coach's Comments: "Ahmad has a lot of the skills coaches are looking for," said Sterlington head coach Dell Ashley. "He is fast, tall and he has good hands. The kid has great speed and great character. He is just an exceptional athlete."
