| Biography: |
| The quarterback job was supposed to be seamlessly handed from Matt Leinart to John David Booty, but Mark Sanchez’s performance during spring practice has put something of a wrinkle in that plan. Booty still might earn the starting nod, but Sanchez proved that the gap between them isn’t as wide as some may have thought. Sanchez has a cannon for an arm and is a brilliant leader. The only thing that remains to be seen is whether or not his skills translate to the speed and skill of the college game. After redshirting last season, Mark Sanchez will see action in more than a few games this year. |
