| As a senior, had 57 catches for 1,033 yards and scored 14 touchdowns. Averaged 18.1 ypc and 93.9 ypg. Of his 57 catches, 42 went for a first down or a touchdown. Led the CIF-SS Pac-5 Division (the highest rated division in California) in touchdowns and receiving yards and led the state in receiving amongst Top 90 teams. Helped Mater Dei to a share of the Trinity League title, and was an all-League First Team pick and an all-Orange County selection. Selected to play in the SoCal Bowl in January of 2008.
Caught 39 passes for 623 yards and three touchdowns in 2006 for Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei. Best game was an 8-catch, 115-yard performance against Long Beach Poly. Of his 39 catches, 29 were for first downs or scores. Was all-Trinity League and earned all-state underclass honors as a junior. One of the top junior receivers statistically in California. Also runs track for Monarchs. |
