2005: Appeared in every game ... played left tackle and right guard at various times ... most of his playing time in the season’s last month came as a lineman on the kick scoring team.
High School: Widely regarded as the top offensive lineman in the country ... starred for coach Clinton Jones at Plainfield HS. First-team all-state as a junior ... went the final 25 games of his career without allowing a sack.
Personal: Full name is Eugene Christopher Monroe ... born on 4-18-87 in Plainfield, N.J. ... son of Stephanie Green and the late John Monroe ... one of 16 children, including 11 boys.
