| Long defensive end with a big wing span who comes off the ball very well with great hands and good pad level. Excellent at being able to shed his blocker to make a tackle, but does more gap control and stretching of plays than anything in his defensive system. One of the nation's best at being able to wrap up in open space and moving laterally with the ball. Picks the right time to get upfield and make a tackle without giving up his gap. |

Jeffcoat posted more than 100 tackles, 15 tackles for loss and nine sacks as a junior while playing with herniated discs in his back. Also averaging 11.9 points and 7.7 rebounds in basketball as a junior. Son of former Dallas Cowboy great Jim Jeffcoat. |
